Terms of Use

Effective date: August 15, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pepia mobile application, website, and related services (together, "Pepia"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Pepia, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

For the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms supplement that agreement. If there is a conflict, Apple's agreement controls to the extent required for your App Store license.

Who may use Pepia

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally able to agree to these Terms. You may use Pepia only for lawful, personal purposes. Pepia may not be available in every country or language.

Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@pepia.co if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not share, sell, or transfer your account; impersonate another person; attempt to access another user's information; probe or disrupt Pepia's security; reverse engineer the service except where law expressly allows it; or use Pepia to violate any law or another person's rights.

Important medical disclaimer

Pepia is a tracking, organization, and educational tool. It is not a healthcare provider or medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, dose recommendations, or titration instructions.

Information in Pepia—including schedules, estimated levels, supply estimates, reminders, compound information, trends, and AI-generated responses—may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or inappropriate for your circumstances. Estimates are not measurements of the amount of a substance in your body.

Always follow the instructions for the exact prescribed or dispensed product and seek advice from a qualified clinician or pharmacist before starting, stopping, combining, changing, or administering any medication, peptide, supplement, or protocol. Do not rely on Pepia to determine whether a product is safe, authentic, approved, properly stored, or appropriate for you.

Pepia is not for emergencies. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. For suspected poisoning or a serious medication reaction, contact emergency services or the appropriate poison-control service in your location.

Ask Pepia and AI-generated content

Ask Pepia is intended to explain and organize educational information. AI-generated content can sound confident while being wrong. It does not replace a clinician, pharmacist, product label, or emergency service and must not be used to make treatment or dosing decisions.

You are responsible for reviewing any response before relying on it. Do not submit information about another person unless you have the legal right and their permission to do so.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of the information and photos you submit to Pepia. You give Pepia a limited license to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the features you choose, and to comply with law.

You represent that you have the right to upload your content and that it does not violate law or another person's privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about how information is handled and deleted.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Some Pepia features require an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. The price, billing period, trial terms, and available plans shown by Apple at the time of purchase control your transaction.

Payment is charged to your Apple account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, Apple may automatically renew and charge your account for the next period under its applicable terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings. Deleting Pepia or deleting your Pepia account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Refunds, billing disputes, and payment processing are handled by Apple under App Store rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may change future subscription prices or features with the notice required by Apple and applicable law.

Pepia's intellectual property

Pepia, including its software, design, text, graphics, branding, and other content we provide, is owned by Pepia or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pepia as intended. No other rights are granted.

If you send feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but you are not required to provide feedback.

Third-party services and content

Pepia relies on services provided by Apple, Supabase, OpenAI, and potentially other providers identified in our Privacy Policy. Pepia may also link to scientific sources, product labels, or third-party websites. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of them may be governed by separate terms.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features to improve Pepia, address safety or security issues, comply with law, or reflect service availability. We will provide notice when required by law.

You can stop using Pepia at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create risk or harm, fail to pay for a required subscription, or if we are legally required to do so. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute provisions—will survive.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepia is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that Pepia will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that reminders will arrive at a particular time. You remain responsible for maintaining your own records, following professional instructions, and independently verifying important information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepia and its owners, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use Pepia.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to Pepia will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Pepia during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $100. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Disputes and applicable law

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact support@pepia.co and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. These Terms do not deprive you of mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim in a court or forum available under the consumer laws of your place of residence.

If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Pepia evolves. We will post the revised Terms here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where law requires another form of consent.
